Belgas
Long Coastline which stretches at north of Baleal for kilometers. Belgas is the back-up venue for the Rip Curl Pro Portugal. It offers several left- and right-handers up the coast, even on a small day.
Lagide
A consistent lefthand reef break, needs medium swell and is very popular when it is working. Lagide is the best spot on the north side of Baleal and also one venue for the ASP Woman´s World Tour in Portugal.
Prainha
A small beach break next to Lagide which normally provides nice left- and right-handers. The small beach (Prainha) works well with more or less the same conditions as Lagide and is a good alternative on a crowded day.
Cantinho
Left- and right-hand beach break. One of the most consistent spot in Peniche and fast crowded.
Bay of Peniche
The half moon shaped bay between Peniche and Baleal offers several left- and right-hand sandbars which are facing different swell and wind directions. At the sheltered corners of the bay you will find soft conditions even on big or windy days.
Molhe Leste
Fast right-hand beach break north of Supertubos and close to the harbor wall of Peniche. Molhe Leste is a wedge with a small take-off zone and really famous the local bodyboard crew.
Supertubes
Best beach break in Portugal and known for its powerful barreling left and right hander it is facing south and can handle almost all kinds of swell sizes. When Supertubos is on, it is a crowded, fast and hollow wave with a shifting peak and some close outs too. Some call Peniches most famous wave European Pipeline, it is the main spot for the Rip Curl Pro Portugal and labeled by Surfer Magazine as one of the best waves in the world.
Connsolação
Left- and right-hand point break. The better known is the right-hander, with medium to big swell Connsolação creates long waves with a powerful inside section.
